As I make my breakfast sandwich( I.E. Egg McMuffin). I always think of Bourdain's diss of the concept of a breakfast sandwich maker. I also get mad that Antony from Queer Eye is still here and Anthony is not. Antony would probably sell you a sandwich maker with his face on it and encourage you to sea salt that mother! I don't really wish the other dude death. I just think his fame is stupid and undeserved.
Anthony Bourdain was the coolest guy traveling the world, Euro-trash girlfriend and all. It just highlight's how brain chemistry can defi logic and fact about how things are actually going in our lives. We need to be there for our depressed friends and hold hope in the dark night. The little things always get better. It's those things that trip us up.
Segue...Neil Young and Crazy Horse are still kicking. I subscribe to his streaming services. The new album with Crazy Horse called "Colorado" is out. Very serviceable for a bunch of senior citizens but no classics to my ears. I think the Promise of the Real has lowered the bar a bit too low. I do love his editorials though.
