I've noticed that once again Nick Cave is on the best-of list for album of the year with "Ghosteen". While I love me some Nick, especially his newsletter "Red Right Hand Files", It seems like he gets a mighty big pass when it comes to critical attention. There are excellent songs on every album but I can't help but think that he needs Mick Harvey and Blixa for a true bad seeds album. It hasn't grown on me yet. Time will tell (and crawl and won't let me).
