As I get ready for next week's recording sessions (YES- we are actually doing an LP next week), I was looking for an old Maxell that contained an idea that I wanted to return to. For all you beginning recordist (?) the best advice I can give is take notes!!! Though blessed/cursed with some elephantine memory the details get fuzzy over time. The pro's have an OCD that i DO NOT possess. A track sheet is something that anyone can download these days.
I actually found a song or two that I have no memory of recording/writing/ETC. Ah the Wilderness years. I also found several covers. The best of this batch is a version of "Femme Fatale" that i promise to digitize and post soon in one form or another. Again, the lesson for today. Save time. Take good notes!!
