I used the word "tickled" in my last post. I was wondering if the kids use that phrase. We went thru a long winter of everything being described as Amazing. I've been guilty of underselling my enthusiasm by describing things as "all right." Maybe i just needed a feeling word wall in my abode when i talked on the phone. I'm more often "Tickled" than Amazed by things. I have that private self-"chuckle" several times a day. Sometimes it's a snort.
I used to find myself more bemused than amused not so long ago. Come to find out it's a 18th century term that implies being muddled by beer!! Every man to his poison. The song "Red Shoes" still has resonance. "I used to be disgusted but I try to be amused. " Some days are harder than others.
