I actually got myself in the studio a few weeks ago to start a new batch of demos. Some are brand new and others finishing or adding music to words that have been around a bit. I always used to like these type of tidbits bits in RS's Random Notes, so here goes. " Totally Bare" a song I started in the 80's with Archer Prewitt. I would say influenced by "Sweet's from a Stranger" Squeeze, lyrics finished 2014ish. "You'll Have That" words and music written in my hotel in Brown County between drinking sessions with Messers Perkins, Smith, Immel, Wood and Timmy Tom!! A sure-fire hit if Toby Keith covers it. "Tuesday Morning Yardsale" inspired by my case manager days driving through Shivley USA. "What About me?"- What about you? A jazzy electro stomper. I haven't quite got the words to bolt-on yet so it may stay instrumental. " Nature Boy" one of my famed character assassinations, subject withheld (Tom) .
I'm of the mind to actually do my next album in a studio and let someone else produce but we will see. Never look the gift mule in the mouth.
